The holidays are coming quick, first it will be Halloween, then Thanksgiving and then my most favorite of all Christmas!! So, I thought it would be fun to share some recipes or some family traditions with each other. Just email me and I will add them to this blog. I never thought my pride could actually block me from understanding You. But, these days, I am stubborn...always trying to figure out the way on my own. I speak up on behalf of myself, my opinions, and my ego more oftern than I speak up for my faith. I let my concerns consume me before I turn to You in prayer. So much me and so little You makes for a difficult life. I miss Your gentle leading. My mind and heart are too scattered to take in Your truths. I don't even taste the simple joys because I deem them insignificant. Help me strip away my own agenda and prideful ways so that I ahve nothing blocking my view of You. Amen
